How does your home based study course work and how long will it take?
Our aim is to make learning as flexible as possible. You can start and finish when it is convenient to you. You will be provided with a set of DVD’s for each course you purchase. We advise that you work through each DVD slowly mastering each step before you advance to the next. You will also receive a training manual which you will need to read through before beginning the practical side of each course.
How long it takes to complete each course is entirely up to each individual and will depend on how much time and effort you are prepared to put in. If you have the time to devoteamd you are motivated to do so you can easily get through any one of our courses in one week. How fast or slow you progress is entirely up to you.
Do I have to sit an exam or do assignments?
Once you feel you are proficient in the practical side and have studied and understood the training manual we have an on-line examination for each subject. This will only test your understanding of the theoretical side of the course. If you do not require our Certificate there is no need for you to sit the exam.
What qualifications will I receive?
There are no licensing requirements in Australia and many other parts of the world to practice as a Nail Technician or Beautician. It is advisable that you have done some kind of course, for the safety of your clients, the Health Department and Insurance purposes. Our Certificate is valid throughout Australia and many other countries to either work in an established salon or start your own business whether it be from home or commercially.
There are quite a few correspondence courses available but they are paper based only with no real video content. Our course is VERY extensive in video component, plus the indpeth training manual and online assistance 7 DAYS A WEEK.
On completion of any of our units we have a theory exam, which once successfully passed will issue you with a Certificate of Completion.
These courses are designed to get you going fast and making money in the quickest possible time. You will find that these are a great starting point to get you into the beauty industry and you can then choose to continue with more advanced and formal qualifications once you start making money.
If you live outside Australia you will need to make your own enquiries as to the level of qualification you will need, but again these courses are an excellent way for you to see if this is really what you want to do before you go and spend thousands of dollars at a traditional college. They will also be of enormous benefit if you do then go on to more formal study.
How do I know if I am performing the treatments correctly?
We have several ways for you to check if you are doing the practical side of any subject correctly. This is all covered indepth in each subject.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes. You have 60 days to view your DVD set and decide if this is for you. If you are not totally happy for any reason you can simply return the DVD set to us (at your expense) within the 60 day guarantee period and all money will be refunded once we receive the DVDs in original condition. Any material or information downloaded to you as well as our exclusive email problem solving service will also be withdrawn and unavailable for further use.

Do I need to do all of your courses?
Each of oursubjects has been designed as a stand alone short course. It is up to each individual to decide which area or areas of the beauty industry interests them. You can choose just one or any amount and combination of the courses we have on offer. All of our courses compliment each other.
Can I pay by instalments?
As our pricing structure is extremely low compared to any other comparative course on the internet we do not offer an instalment plan.
We do however offer great discounts of up to 20% if purchasing our courses separately for any subsequent course, so if you only want 2 or 3 you will still save. (Please contact us if you are buying in multiples for the best price).
We also offer a saving of over 30% if you purchase all courses together. That’s like getting 1½ courses for free.
What prior qualifications or learning experience do I require?
You do not need any particular level of education or qualifications. Our courses have been designed to take you through absolutely everything you need to know from start to finish. You not only have our professional training manual but hours and hours of indepth step by step video to watch and learn from.
Beauty therapy is not something that you can learn from reading a book or manual. You have to be able to watch a procedure over and over and you can do this as many times as you need to with our video system.
What if I can’t understand something?
Once you have purchased one or more of our courses, each course comes with an exclusive FAQ section for that subject which will cover most common problems. However if you cannot find the answer you need in this section, you have exclusive access to our email problem solving service 7 DAYS A WEEK. You will be dealing with me personally and your query will usually be answered within an hour or two if not immediately.
