Nail techs can provide professional services in the country without a certificate or formal qualifications. They don’t need to have a license as well to earn.

Massage Therapist

Massage therapists can have higher education or be high school graduates. They are unregulated, so skilled individuals can explore careers in massage.

Waxing Technician / Spray Tanning Technician / Facialist / Lash Technician

These beauty professions can have one license, beauty therapists or esthetics, in many countries. In Senegal, however, these are not regulated, so even without a license, skilled workers can earn.

Hairstylist

Hairstylists only need hair skills to practise in Senegal. Licenses and other qualifications are not set in the country.

Barber

Barbers are expected to possess professional skills in the industry. They don’t need to have a barbering license to practise as they are not regulated.

Makeup Artist

Makeup artists can enjoy many available opportunities in the country. They can start after high school as long as they are skilled in their crafts.
