Regulated Beauty Services in Seychelles
Barber / Spray Tanning Technician / Lash Technician / Facialist / Waxing Technician / Nail Technician / Makeup Artist
Beauticians offer a broader scope of services, which can include barbering, spray tanning, lash services, facials, waxing, nail technology and makeup. The Licenses Act states that no beautician shall practise in the country without a license. Practitioners are expected to complete a beauty therapy course and hold a certificate of completion from an approved school.
Hairstylist
Like the beauty professions above, hairdressers or hairstylists are expected to secure a license before working in the industry. They also need to be certified for hairdressing by a recognised institution to qualify for a license.

Massage Therapist
Massage therapists in the country are regulated under the Complementary Health Care Services law. The regulations state that massage therapists should hold a license to work in the industry.
