Spray Tanning Technician / Lash Technician / Waxing Technician / Facialist

A beauty therapist license, such as cosmetology or esthetics, allows a practitioner to offer these services. But Sierra Leone has no license required for these, so all skilled practitioners can earn in the country without proper qualifications.

Nail Technician

Nail technicians, whether high school graduates or with certificates, can become successful professionals in the industry. They don’t need to secure a license to be able to work.

Barber

Barbers can also enjoy working in the industry because they are not required a license. As early as after high school, they can already earn.

Hairstylist

Hairstylists don’t need a license as well in Sierra Leone. As long as they have skills, they can provide hair services to people.

Makeup Artist

Makeup artists can either have a bachelor’s degree or not. There are no licensing requirements in the country for this profession.

Massage Therapist

Massage therapists can begin earning in the beauty industry early as well. They don’t need to have a license to start their careers.
