These professionals are considered beauticians in France. The law states that they must be professionally qualified to practice, and to do that, they should hold a CAP, professional patent in aesthetics cosmetic perfumery, bachelor’s degree, senior technician or master’s certificate.

Those who are not able to present any diploma or certificate can still be considered beauticians if they can provide proof of work experience for at least 3 years in any European Union country.

Hairstylist

Barber

Barbers in the country don’t have licensing regulations. They can serve clients without a license and have the freedom to enjoy earning in the industry.

Massage Therapist

Massage therapists are also unregulated. High school graduates can start earning as massage therapists as long as they have the skills. Salary may vary, however, depending on educational attainment.
