Massage Therapist

Massage therapists should get education recognised by the health authorities in Iceland. Once training is completed, the director of health consults the associations of massage therapy recognised in the country if the applicant satisfies the requirements set.

Hairstylist

Hairstylists in the country can work without a license. The education level required is only high school, so anyone who graduates from this stage can practice hairstyling.

Spray Tanning Technician / Makeup Artist / Waxing Technician / Facialist / Lash Technician

These services can have one license (esthetics or cosmetology) or separate licenses in several places. In Iceland, however, these are not regulated, so interested aspirants can train anywhere and get skilled.

Nail Technician
