Massage Therapist
Massage therapists in the Cayman Islands are regulated under the Council for Professions Allied with Medicine or CPAM. As per the Council’s code of ethics, practitioners must be trained by an accredited school to ensure quality services. They must also register with the CPAM, showing certifications or diplomas as proof of training and education. More registration details are provided here:

Hairstylist
Hairstylists are not required to secure certifications or licenses to earn as professionals. They are only encouraged to learn the skills to offer great hair services.
Barber
Barbers are not expected to earn certificates to practise in the country. Finishing high school is the minimum requirement, allowing many interested individuals to explore the industry earlier than requiring further education.
Makeup Artist
Makeup artists can either have professional certificates or only finish high school. The profession is unregulated, so practitioners don’t need any formal requirements to comply.
Nail Technician
Nail technicians don’t need a license to be considered professionals as well. Skills are essential, however, to develop by practitioners to deliver the best services.
Lash Technician / Waxing Technician / Facialist / Spray Tanning Technician
Esthetics or cosmetology usually offers these services for aspirants to master. But the Cayman Islands has no licensing laws for these, so practitioners can perform beauty services without a license.
