Grenada released its Code SRO 46 last December 2022 regulating beauticians in the country. It requires professionals in beauty and wellness to be registered and licensed practitioners.

Barber / Hairstylist / Nail Technician / Massage Therapist
An article reports that the Code specifies masseuses, tattoo artists, nail technicians (including manicurists and pedicurists), barbers and hairdressers are covered under the said law. These professionals should be registered and licensed in the country and must be knowledgeable and skilled to practice.

For the rest of the professionals on this list, they are still covered under the Code. Although the law only specifies several beauticians, it also indicates that it’s for all practitioners in the beauty industry. All services under beauty and wellness should be nationally recognised.
