Massage Therapist
A massage therapist or masseuse is considered an allied health practitioner in Saint Lucia and is regulated in the country. The law states that massage therapists should register with the council to be recognised professionals.
Primary requirements for registration are holding a diploma or degree in massage therapy from an approved school, owning a membership certificate from a recognised allied health agency and satisfying the council that the practitioner is of good character.
The practitioner should then apply for the registration, which will be reviewed by the council. Once the council is satisfied, the professional is then issued a license.
