Facialist / Waxing Technician / Makeup Artist
These professionals can either take a cosmetologist or esthetician license. For estheticians, they must finish 750 training hours that cover multiple skills and procedures.
Nail Technician
Nail techs need a manicurist license to legally practice. They should complete 500 training hours in manicuring, pedicuring and nail technology for artificial and natural nails.

Massage Therapist
Louisiana requires aspirants to complete 500 training hours, pass any national examination (NCCAOM, NCBTMB or MBLEx) and pass the oral examination by the board.
