These beauty services need an esthetician or cosmetologist license in the state. Esthetics requires 600 training hours, while cosmetology needs 1,600 training hours.

Nail Technician

Nail techs in Wyoming are expected to finish 400 training hours.

Hairstylist

Aspirants who want to focus on hairstyling can take a specific license for this service. The curriculum requires 1,000 training hours.

Licensed hairstylists or nail techs can also take the add-on hair removal license, which demands the completion of 125 training hours.

Barber

Barbers can take the barber (without chemical procedures) or barber stylist (with chemical procedures) license in Wyoming. Barbers should complete 1,000 training hours, while barber stylists must finish 1,250 training hours.

Licensed cosmetologists and hairstylists can become barbers in the state as well. They must earn the cosmetologist crossover license, which needs 150 additional training hours, and the hairstylist crossover license, which requires 200 additional training hours.
